A &L Royal Education Language Academy welcomes students of all faiths from around the world. We ask that our students be willing to meet our academic and character requirements and live according to our academic and cultural atmosphere. We ask parents to support A&L Royal Education Language Academy staff and school policy and to cooperate and support A&L Royal Education Language Academy policies and rules. A & L Royal Education Language Academy reserves the right to modify or add policies, rules, or regulations in order to ensure safe and appropriate operation. Applications from students with special needs will be considered on an individual basis. A&L Royal Education Language Academy will not accept students who have a history of drug, alcohol or other substance abuse, or behavioral issues.

Parents are expected to maintain a positive attitude in addition to co-operating with and supporting A & L Royal Education Language Academy staff and school policy. Any constructive criticism regarding the school should be directed to a teacher, principal, or School Director, outside a student’s hearing. When a student enrols at A & L Royal Education Language Academy, the parents and student accept its standards, regulations, and financial obligations to the school.

No student dismissed from another school because of drug, alcohol, or other abuse will be admitted to A & L Royal Education Language Academy. The school reserves the right to modify or add policies, rules, or regulations in order to ensure the safe and appropriate operation of the school. Any changes will be in writing and communicated to all.

A & L Royal Education Language Academy has limited ability to accommodate special education needs. These requests are considered on an individual basis.

PROCEDURES FOR FIRST TIME APPLICANTS
First time applicants must complete the following process to be considered for admission to
A & L Royal Education.

1. For students entering the English for High School Program, the minimum age is 15 years old at the start date of the program. There is no minimum age of other English programs.

2. To satisfy the Government of Canada’s requirements for those who wish to study in Canada, a custodial arrangement is necessary for students who are under 18 years old.

3. Health coverage is mandatory for all students. All students must show proof of valid medical insurance before beginning their academic program. Health insurance must be maintained for their entire term at A&L Royal education. Students with valid Study Permits, if eligible, can apply for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health medical coverage. Any waiting period needs to be covered by alternative health insurance.

4. There is a CDN $250 non-refundable registration fee.

5. An enrolment packet will be emailed to students. This will contain A&L Royal Education’s Student Handbook and enrolment forms.

6. The student must present the completed forms and records, including

     (a) the Registration Application form,
     (b) For students entering the English for High School Program, at least one written recommendation from a previous teacher and the last report card from the former school.

7. An English proficiency/placement test will be administered. This will be administered via the Internet.

8. Arrangements will be made to interview the student via the Internet using social media such as WeChat, Skype or Messenger.

9. Information from the Registration Application form, the placement test, and the interview will be reviewed by the principal to determine whether the student should be admitted.

10. Once admission is granted, the student will be notified.
